We are looking for 2nd and/or 3rd Year Apprentices to join our innovative Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and TIG welding processes to fabricate, fit, and assemble components for custom fabrications

  • Read and understand manufacturing drawings

  • Safely operate manual or semi-manual welding equipment to fuse metal pieces

  • Ensure welds meet specifications and meet or exceed quality standards

  • Continually learn and grow

  • Other duties as assigned

Key Attributes and Competencies:

  • Strength and stamina; with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks

  • Safety attitude! Able to safely operate a variety of tools, equipment, and machinery

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Critical thinker; plan, prioritize, troubleshoot, and execute

  • Team Player; establish and maintain successful working relationships

  • Excited to learn!

Technical and Safety Qualifications:

  • Registered 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Aluminum welding experience an asset

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset

  • Overhead Crane experience an asset

  • Confined Space training an asset

  • Forklift certification an asset
